Session Information:
The rapid development of electrification, intelligent control, and artificial intelligence is transforming modern vehicles into highly integrated and interconnected cyber-physical systems. Electric propulsion systems, chassis and vehicle motion, tire–road interactions, onboard sensing, and energy systems are becoming increasingly coupled through physical interactions, information exchange, and control decisions. Such integration creates new opportunities for improving vehicle safety, efficiency, performance, and reliability, while also posing significant challenges to conventional subsystem-oriented modeling, control, and optimization approaches.
This Special Session focuses on cross-domain intelligence for electrified vehicles, with particular emphasis on electric drives, intelligent control, and energy management. The session aims to explore new theories, methodologies, and enabling technologies that integrate physical modeling, intelligent sensing, data-driven learning, advanced control, and optimization across traditionally separated vehicle subsystems. Cross-domain intelligence in this context refers to the coordinated utilization of information and physical interactions among electric drive systems, vehicle operating states, tire–road conditions, component health, driving demands, and onboard energy resources.
